Abstract: This paper discusses the properties of long-distance agreement in Muira Dargwa (<Nakh-Daghestanian). I demonstrate that long-distance agreement is possible across all types of complement clauses and that it correlates with information-structural properties of the goal, varying with default agreement. I also discuss the existing approaches to the phenomenon of long-distance agreement and claim that only a Cyclic Agreement approach is able to adequately explain the properties of the construction.
